Echelon LLC, an Enterprise of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe

Echelon LLC (“Echelon”) is an enterprise of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe. Recently the Tribe reached agreement with the minority owners to acquire the minority interests in Echelon. As a result, Echelon is now wholly owned by the Tribe.
Echelon formerly did business under the name Berg Integrated Systems, and was affiliated with the Berg Companies of Spokane, Washington and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The affiliation with the Berg Companies is now ending although Echelon and Berg remain on excellent terms and will continue to work together to meet customer needs.
The Tribe’s further investment in Echelon reflects their confidence in Echelon’s current business and prospects for growth. Echelon operates as a small business with facilities located in a designated Hub Zone and remains certified under the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 8(a) business development program.
Echelon currently manufactures flexible fabric liquid containment bladders and operates a fully staffed and equipped metals fabrication facility. Our bladder facility utilizes one of the largest vulcanizing presses in the world allowing the company to manufacture bladders in a wide range of sizes up to 210,000 U.S. Gallons (approximately 75’x75’x6’). Our metal fabrication capabilities allow us to manufacture metal products from technical drawings provided by our customers and to assist in product design and improvement upon request. Current metal fabrication work includes manufacture of shipping containers, container integration, and related services. Our engineering staff provides product design and build to specification capabilities to provide customers with best in class products on time and within budget.
